Undergraduate Degree in Statistics and Economnics from the Università La Sapienza of Rome, Italy (1991).

MS. Degree in  Statistics (1994), University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT.

Ph.D.Degree in Statistics (1996), University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT.

Ph.D. Postdoctoral fellow in Biostatistics, Harvard University and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, U.S.A. (1996-1998).
