Biographical note
I hold a Degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi, a Master of Science in Health Policy and Management from Harvard University and PhD in Social Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I had research positions at the Department of Health Policy and Management, Harvard School of Public Health, and LSE Health and Social Care. I am currently Full Professor at the Social and Political Sciences, that I led from 2012 to 2015. My most recent areas of research are nutrition policy and economics, health and healthcare inequalities, Governance and management of AI in healthcare and the relationship between loneliness and health. I am Past-President of the Italian Association of Health Economics and member of the editorial board of "Health Policy Economics and Law", "Pharmacoeconomics" and "Economia e Management". I am associate editor of "Health Policy". I am affiliated to CERGAS and F Dondena. Students interested in having me a supervisor can contact me via email.
