Biographical note

I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Bocconi University. I joined Bocconi in  September 2022 after completing my PhD from University of Chicago Booth School of Business. I also earned an MBA from University of Chicago School of Business, a MSc of finance from University of California San Diego and a BSc in business economics from KU Leuven.

About

I conduct empirical accounting research in two broadly defined areas: ((i) capital market regulation with a focus on the effects of disclosure regulation and transparency, and (ii) private M&A contracting.

Research interests

I am generally interested in the role of disclosure (regulation) and its effects on capital markets and the behavior of different stakeholders. Specifically, my current research focuses on how information dissemination affects the functioning of capital markets. My other research interest is in the domain of private M&A contracting. Specifically, my current research focuses on the role of venture capitalists in the M&A contract design.
