Biographical note
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing Sciences at Bocconi University. My research focuses on understanding the inner workings of neural networks, identifying their limitations, and enhancing their efficiency. I am also interested in interdisciplinary applications of deep learning across various fields of science and engineering. I hold a PhD from ETH Zurich and completed my postdoctoral research at EPFL. Before that, I earned a Master’s degree in Machine Learning from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s degree in Physics from the University of Genoa.
