Courses a.y. 2024/2025
Biographical note
I am Lecturer in the Department of Finance at Bocconi University.
In 2017, I joined the Stern School of Business at New York University (NYU) as an adjunct professor of finance. At NYU, I have developed and delivered comprehensive course materials in Corporate Finance, engaged in financial research, and mentored students pursuing careers in finance. In 2018, I joined the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University as a Senior Lecturer in Corporate Finance. At Columbia, I have designed and taught advanced corporate finance courses, guiding students through complex financial concepts and fostering a collaborative learning environment. My teaching experience abroad has allowed me to integrate academic theory with practical applications in the financial industry.
My research focuses on corporate valuation, with an emphasis on the valuation of start-ups and private companies.
I have co-edited several works, including the Italian edition of “Corporate Finance” (D. Hillier, S. Ross, R. Westerfield, J. Jaffe, B. Jordan), published by McGraw-Hill in 2012, and “Prodotti Strutturati” (S. Tolle, B. Hutter, P. Ruthemann, H. Wohlwend (Wegelin & Co)), published by Egea in 2006.
I hold a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Trieste, an M. Sc. in economics and management, and a Bachelor’s Degree in economics and finance from Bocconi University.
