Biographical note
I am Associate Dean for Open Programs at SDA Bocconi Business School and Associate Professor of Organization Theory at the Management Department of Bocconi University (Milano, Italy). I was the Director of the Masters Division at SDA Bocconi School of Management (2012-2016) and the Director of the Organization and Human Resources Management Department at SDA Bocconi (2006-2012).
My interests focus on three main topics: job and organization design, training systems, company transformation. I'm the author of numerous articles on these subjects and I wrote the book: "Apprendimento Non-stop. Integrare politiche pubbliche e aziendali sulla formazione per conciliare benessere e produttività", Egea, Milano. My articles have been published in leading scientific journal such as Organization Science, Research Policy, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Academy of Management Learning and Education, British Journal of Management, International Journal of Training and Development, European Management Journal.
I graduated cum laude in Management at Bocconi University in 1997 and I earned my Ph.D from Bocconi in 2001. I was Visiting Scholar at Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania), 2000-2001. I attended the International Teacher Programme at Stockholm School of Economics, 2005.
I act as advisor for several companies. I am a frequent speaker at corporate and industry events on such topics as organization design, training systems, remote working and job design.
