ZACHARY PAROLIN

Biographical note

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social and Political Sciences and a Senior Fellow at Columbia University’s Center on Poverty and Social Policy. My research focuses on the measurement and sources of poverty and social inequality in high-income countries. My work has been published in journals such as American Sociological Review, Nature Human Behavior, Demography, The Annals of the American Academy of Social and Political Sciences, Social Forces, and more. Prior to arriving at Bocconi, I worked and studied at Columbia University, University of Antwerp, and Oxford University.
